O projeto RadioActive acaba de ser distinguido com o Prémio Inclusão e Literacia Digital, pelos seus bons resultados em Portugal. Esta distinção, atribuída pela FCT através da Rede TIC e Sociedade, é destinada à expansão do programa durante o ano de 2015.
O RadioActive é um projeto que teve financiamento pela Comissão Europeia entre 2012 e 2014 no âmbito do Programa de Aprendizagem ao Longo da Vida, estando implementado no Reino Unido, na Alemanha, em Portugal, em Malta e na Roménia. Trata-se de um projeto desenvolvido no âmbito da educação não formal, com o objetivo de promover a aprendizagem, a participação, a inclusão e a empregabilidade em contextos mais vulneráveis.
Em Portugal, o projeto é desenvolvido pelo Centro de Investigação Media e Jornalismo (CIMJ) em centros do Programa Escolhas do Porto, de Gondomar e de Coimbra. A equipa portuguesa, dirigida por Maria José Brites, é constituída por Sílvio Correia Santos, Ana Jorge, Daniel Catalão, Catarina Navio e António Granado.
Com o Prémio Inclusão e Literacia Digital, o RadioActive vai ser implementado em outros centros do Programa Escolhas, que continuará como parceiro privilegiado do CIMJ em 2015.
RadioActive distinguished in Portugal for the promotion of digital literacy and inclusion
RadioActive was awarded in Portugal by FCT, the national funding agency for science, technology and innovation. The prize acknowledges the good results of RadioActive and supports the expansion of the project in Portugal during 2015. RadioActive is a project financed between 2012 and 2104 by the European Commission through the Lifelong Learning Program aimed at the promotion of engagement, informal learning and employability of at risk and excluded people across Europe through internet radio and social media. The project is led by the University of East London in the UK, with partners from Wales, Germany, Portugal, Malta and Romania. In Portugal, the project is implemented by CIMJ – Research Centre for Media and Journalism. The Portuguese team, coordinated by Maria José Brites, is composed by Sílvio Correia Santos, Ana Jorge, Daniel Catalão, Catarina Navio and António Granado. This award will support the expansion of the project in Portugal in cooperation with the governmental program Escolhas during 2015.
