Risk & Rebel: How radio can engage the ‘We generation’ – EBU Knowledge Exchange 20142014-08-04T10:21:56+00:00

HOW CAN PUBLIC SERVICE MEDIA ENGAGE THE NEXT GENERATION OF RADIO LISTENERS?

"At the moment radio is not sexy for the young. It needs to take risks, rebel and get creative in order to improve listenership in younger audiences."
EBU Knowledge Exchange is excited to present two radio fanatics, Sharon Green and Lenja Faraguna from Radio Results International. They will look at creativity in radio through a few beautiful case studies and talk about the next generation of radio listeners, the so called "We generation” and how they engage with brands.

"Relationships in communities are drifting apart. But we would like radio to be a sincere friend, a real, raw and relevant medium, and we believe it is really important to have young people involved and engaged in it."

Considering their combined wealth of professional experience, Sharon and Lenja will undoubtedly bring the new ideas and inspiration that PSM need in order to connect with younger listeners.
