In this presentation I’ll present results from a series of research projects that I have carried out during the last 5 years in five EU countries about the news coverage of crisis. I’ll try to show that media frame and represent “crisis” (which is a blurring term) from the point of view of neoliberal position. This understanding of situation as well as defining situation as “crisis” is a very crucial condition in order to be accepted by the public the neoliberal strategy of reorganization of the
economy, politics and society in the EU South.
